
Brown Shines During Week 4 of NECBL Season

MONTPELIER, Vt. - Vermont Mountaineers left-handed starting pitcher Casey Brown (Wenonah, N.J. / Central Connecticut State) was named to the New England Collegiate Baseball League's (NECBL) Weekly Honor Roll for his performance the week ending June 28.
Brown, who is 3-1 on the summer, earned his third win of the season on Saturday evening when the Mountaineers defeated North Adams, 9-2, at Recreation Field. Brown allowed no runs on just one hit and one walk over six and two-thirds innings. He struck out four.
Brown becomes the fourth Vermont player of the summer to attain weekly honors from the league following Garrett Copeland (Week 1) and Thomas Roulis and Sam Delaplane (Week 2).
