Charleston Swamp Foxes News Release
NORTH CHARLESTON, SC â Charleston Swamp Foxes' veterans Michael Brown and Mike Davis both earned weekly team honors today. Brown was awarded the team's Player of the Week honor while the Fox Hole Fan Club selected Davis as its top performer for Week One.
Brown, a 6-0, 190-lbs. defensive specialist from Charleston Southern, had his first interception of the year in the loss to Norfolk on April 5. He made a diving acrobatic move to get in front of the intended receiver and slammed into the crash pads after picking off the pass.

Davis, a 6-2, 260-lbs. fullback/linebacker, led the Swamp Foxes in receiving at Norfolk. He hauled in three passes for 38 yards out of the backfield. Davis also scored the first points for the Foxes, dashing in from one-yard out early in the third quarter.
Davis is a veteran of arenafootball2, in his second season with the Swamp Foxes. He also has played for the Roanoke Steam in 2001.
