Broncos' Movember Campaign a Huge Success

Swift Current, SK - The Swift Current Broncos Hockey Club's Movember campaign was a huge success. In total, the organization raised $15,508.00 with all proceeds going to the Canadian Cancer Society.

The Movember campaign started on November 1st and lasted until the 30th. 18 Broncos grew moustaches all month long to help raise money for the cause. Moustache updates were documented weekly on the Swift Current Broncos website. To wrap up the campaign, 10 Broncos voluntarily shaved their heads after their game against the Lethbridge Hurricanes last night to help raise cancer awareness.

The Broncos that raised the most money were:

* Taylor Vause - $11,345

* Josh Derko - $470

* Kyle Verdino - $400

* Reece Scarlett - $350

* Shea Howorko - $300
