AMARILLO, TX - The Bronco (26-30) gave up four runs in the bottom of the seventh and lost game three of the series to Amarillo (32-23).

The Broncos sent RHP Robert Roth (1-1) to the mound in game three of the four game series with Amarillo against RHP Ryan Mitchell (5-3) making the start for the Dillas.

In the bottom of the second Amarillo took the lead on some sloppy defense turned in by the Broncos. Stephen Douglas reached on an error committed by Nick Mahin and moved to second base When Alberto Cruz walked. A wild pitch charged to Robert Roth moved both base runners up a bag. Brian Bueno was at the plate and he knocked in the Dillas first run with a ground ball. Ryan Flynn made an error on the play that allowed Bueno to reach base. Jermel Lomack was the next batter and brought home the second run of the inning for the Dillas to make the score 2-0 Amarillo.

The Broncos tied the game in the top of the third when D.J Dixon led off with a single. Doug Thennis then reached on a fielder's choice where a throwing error by Andrew Wong allowed Dixon to reach second base safely. With two outs Mike Murphy lined a two run single into right field and the game was tied 2-2.

From Murphy's two runs single in the third, Ryan Mitchell retired the next twelve straight Broncos until Nick Mahin singled in the seventh.

The score remained tied at 2-2 until the bottom of the seventh when Carlos Figueroa and Andrew Wong both singled against LHP Brian Buchanan (5-2). Manager Dan Firova went to the bullpen and brought in RHP Wade Townsend (0-0). Townsend hit Alberto Cruz to load the bases and allowed a bases clearing triple to Rob Recuenco and the Dillas led 5-2. Two batters later against RHP Shane Cox (0-0) Jermel Lomack hit a sacrifice fly to make the score 6-2 Dillas.

In the top of the eighth the Broncos inched closer. Jason Diaz singled to start the inning and after Murphy struck out Carlos Arroyo took the walk. Diaz stole third base and Salvador Paniagua brought him home with a single and the score was 6-3 Dillas. Jonathan Cisneros followed up with another RBI single and the score was 6-4 Dillas.

Amarillo got both runs back in the bottom of the eighth when Alberto Cruz was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded and then Rob Recuneco hit a sacrifice fly to give the Dillas the 8-4 lead.

In the top of the ninth former Bronco RHP Earl Oakes came on and allowed a single to D.J Dixon and a two run homer to Doug Thennis that made the score 8-6 Dillas.

Amarillo Manager Brady Bogart went to his bullpen and brought in his closer RHP Ramon Geronimo (3-1) who retired the next three Broncos to secure the 8-6 Dilla victory.
