MISSOULA, MONT - The Missoula Osprey could not get their offense going once again on Tuesday at Ogren Park Allegiance Field, and the Orem Owlz took advantage to the tune of an 11-2 win in front of 3,036 witnesses.

The Owlz (14-15) used a pair of three-run home runs off of Osprey starter Yoimer Camacho (0-2) to jump out to a 6-0 lead and did not look back. Orem scored their first nine runs of the game via the homer ball, and kept the Missoula bats relatively quiet for much of the game.

Socrates Brito gave the Osprey (14-15) their only two runs of the night, hitting a two-run home run to left-center field in the bottom of the fourth inning. At the time, it cut the Owlz lead to 8-2, but Orem would add single runs in the fifth, sixth and seventh innings to close out the scoring.

The Osprey were held to eight hits on the night, including two for third baseman Tyler Bream. Brito also finished with a pair of hits, while Pedro Ruiz, Michael Perez, John Leonard and Breland Almadova added base hits for Missoula.

The Osprey also received a solid pitching effort from relievers Vince Spilker and Michael Rivera, who combined for two shutout innings and four strikeouts.

The Osprey will venture out for a seven-game road swing through Grand Junction and Orem beginning Thursday in Colorado, as they will take on the Rockies in a four-game series. The Osprey will send right-hander Jared Ray to the mound, and he will be opposed by Grand Junction right-hander Matt Carasiti.

The Osprey will return home on Friday, July 27, to take on the Great Falls Voyagers in the beginning of a five-game homestand. Tickets are available now at the MSO Hub Box Office, located at 140 North Higgins in Downtown Missoula, online at MissoulaOsprey.com and by phone (406) 543-3300.
