Bristol White Sox News Release

The Bristol White Sox have announced additional details for the Family Fun Day and Concert at Boyce Cox Field on Saturday, July 13.

Prior to that evening's Sox game against the visiting Johnson City Cardinals, award-winning contemporary Christian band MIKESCHAIR will be in concert. The gates will open at 5 pm for fans to visit various vendors, enjoy inflatables, visit with friends and family, and pick out a seat for the concert, which is slated to begin at 5:45 pm. The game will begin at 7 pm.

"We are excited to be able to offer this fantastic opportunity to our fans, and could not do it without the support of our loyal sponsor, BVU," said Mahlon Luttrell, General Manager of the Bristol White Sox. "We hope to have a great turnout for this event - and maybe even set a league record for attendance - and our special pricing for this event, only $1 and a pair of new white socks, which we'll donate to charity, should help with that."

The concert is also sponsored by WCQR.

The Bristol White Sox professional baseball team, also known as the Bristol Sox, is the Advanced Rookie affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, competes in the 10-team Appalachian League, and is operated by Bristol Baseball, Inc., a locally-based non-profit organization.
