Bristol White Sox News Release

The Bristol White Sox professional baseball team has announced a special fundraiser to benefit ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), or Lou Gehrig's disease, to be conducted at Boyce Cox Field during the White Sox-Greeneville Astros game on August 3.

"The event will actually kick off the night before, when the Mayberry Deputy comes to the ballpark, and we'll reveal more of the details of this very special fundraiser," noted Mahlon Luttrell, General Manager of the Sox. "We'll have our Pepsi fireworks night on August 3, and we invite fans out both nights for what is sure to be lots of fun, as well a chance to help fund and find a cure for ALS."
