
Bristol Sox Host Successful Food Drive

The Bristol White Sox have announced their Feeding America food drive raised enough money and donated food to provide 1,384 meals to hungry people in need in the region.
Fans who attended the Sox game June 29 donated $310 and 180 pounds of food.
"We are glad to be in a position to help, and encourage our fans to help, those less fortunate in our community," said Mahlon Luttrell, General Manager of the Bristol White Sox. "We hope to have another great turnout for our next food drive, to benefit the Bristol Food Pantry, on August 3."
