On November 22nd Hara Arena will be the place for all mascots to meet. While the Dayton Gems take on the Flint Generals at 5pm on Sunday, area mascots will take over the arena. When the gates open at 4pm be prepared to meet theBurger King, Big Boy, Wendy,Max & Erma and more! At every turn the halls of Hara will bring more of the giant creatures. From the winged kingdom we have RedtheRobin from Red Robin, The Frickers Frickin' Chicken, Waddles the Red Cross Duck and Curby the Recycling Cardinal. Holding the whole group together will be Homer from Home Depot. The Gems own mascot, Blade the Tiger will have to defend his turf against the Flint General with the help of the Dreamy Weeny! That's not all - several local high schools and more surprise guests will be around the concourse and even on the ice!
Fans can cheer ontheir favorites as the mascots take the ice for a not to be missed dodgeball game and tug of warat intermission.
This is the kick off for Thanksgiving week with the Gems. Fans may make adonation of a non-perishable for The Foodbank and their admission will be reduced to only $5. Hara will be waiving the parking fee for all games during Thanksgiving week. Promotions continue Wednesday at 7pm with $1 beer night and Friday for Harry Potter Night.
