Bring It On Home - Race To The Cup

MANCHESTER, NH - The Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, look to Bring It On Home - Race To The Cup as they face the Worcester Sharks in the 2010 Calder Cup Atlantic Division Final starting on Sunday, April 25, Monarchs President Darren Abbott announced on Friday.

Fans are invited to the Bring It On Home - Race To The Cup Viewing Party at PJ O'Sullivans in Manchester on Wednesday, April 28 for game two of the 2010 Calder Cup Atlantic Division Final when the Monarchs take on the Sharks at the DCU Center at 7:05 p.m.

Fans can cheer on the Monarchs while they are on the road as PJ O'Sullivans will broadcast the game live on their projection screen. PJ O'Sullivans will also be offering both food and drink specials during the game.

"The city of Manchester and fans of Monarchs Country are part of our team and we want to give them an opportunity to see the players in action while they are battling on the road in Worcester," said Abbott. "We want to get everyone excited for this series which will return to the Verizon Wireless Arena on Friday, April 30. With the Monarchs sweeping the Portland Pirates in round one, there is nothing more exciting than playoff hockey right now."

In addition to the viewing party next week, fans can expect to see Max, the Monarchs mascot, out and about around town spreading the word that playoff hockey is here! And the local community is showing their support by wearing Monarchs T-shirts and putting signs up in their businesses.

For game four of the series between Manchester and Worcester, the first 2,000 fans to the game at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 1 at the Verizon Wireless Arena will receive Monarchs thunderstix to help cheer on the hometown team. In addition to the thunderstix, Monarchs fans will be treated to a special intermission performance of the YouTube sensation "Granite State of Mind" by Manchester's own Super Secret Project.

The Monarchs Bring It On Home - Race To The Cup will continue on Sunday, April 25 when they play the Sharks at 3:05 p.m. at the DCU Center in game one of the best-of-seven series.
