Bring a Jar of Peanut Butter to the Game Between Richmond and Alabama

April 10, 2012 - Professional Indoor Football League (PIFL)
Richmond Raiders News Release

Saturday is the first ever football game between the Richmond Raiders and the Alabama Hammers professional indoor football teams, and the Boy Scouts of Richmond will be on the scene collecting peanut butter for the Richmond Food Bank.

Food Banks across the country have nicknamed peanut butter "Food Bank Gold" because it is a highly valued, shelf-stable source of protein that's popular among children and anti-hunger activists alike. It is greatly sought after, making it one of the most efficient usages of time and resources for groups to target when conducting a food drive.

So bring your family, bring your friends, and bring a jar of peanut butter to the Richmond Coliseum Saturday evening. Kick off is at 7 and ticket prices start at only $7.
