RICHMOND, Va. (August 4, 2015) - Four members of the 2015 Richmond Raiders squad are seeing their hard work pay off with the chance to play in the Arena Football League (AFL) and Canadian Football League (CFL). Miles Mason, Daron Clark and T.C. Stevens have all signed with AFL teams, and Devin Wilson is now playing for a CFL team.

Raiders Head Coach James Fuller said he is proud of his former players.

"It's great to see these guys succeed at a higher level. They've put in hard work and dedicated themselves to the game, so now it's nice to see their work paying off," Fuller said.

Mason (Utah), a lineman for the Raiders, is now playing for the Los Angeles Kiss. He joined the Kiss back on May 22 and has made a great addition to the team so far. In the Kiss' most recent game on August 1, Mason rushed for a touchdown and caught a touchdown pass.

Clark (Stillman) played wide receiver and returned kicks for the Raiders. He signed with the Philadelphia Soul after the Raiders season. Affectionately known to Raiders fans as "Speedy", Clark is known for his ability to move fast down the field and around defenders.

Kicker T.C. Stevens (Hampden-Sydney) was called up to the New Orleans VooDoo on July 17. A fourth year player for the Raiders, he has already recorded one of the most prolific kicking careers in the PIFL. He was able to step in during the VooDoo's 65-53 victory over the Tampa Bay Storm on July 18, where he hit seven PAT's and one field goal en route to the win. In their August 2 game against the Philadelphia Soul, Stevens went 4 for 4 on PATs in a 61-28 loss.

Wilson (Tennessee State) joined the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League at the end of April. He made a name for himself on the Raiders as a leader in touchdown receptions. So far, Wilson has been on the practice squad with the Roughriders.

Stay tuned to the Raiders website and social media pages for news on the 2016 season. The schedule will be announced later this year, and season tickets will go on sale later in the year as well.
