Brigade Blood Drive

The Kansas City Brigade and the Kansas City Community Blood Center are teaming up to host a week long blood drive starting on Monday the 24th. Brigade players, staff, and Brigade Girls will attend on Tuesday, March 25th from 11am-2pm at the 4040 Main Street location. By donating blood all people will receive two free Brigade tickets to the Monday Night Football game on April 14th against the Chicago Rush. Dick Wilson of 94.9 KCMO-FM will broadcast live from 11am to 2pm at the 4040 Main St. location on the 25th.

Brigade players will be on hand to sign autographs and donors can enter to win autographed Brigade memorabilia.

Community Blood Centers are open Monday - Thursday 8am to 6pm. Friday 8am-3pm.

Public Safety Appreciation Day

The upcoming home game for the Brigade on Monday, March 24th against Grand Rapids will be public safety appreciation day. Deputy Justin Morris will be honored at the game. Brigade Co-owner Neil Smith appreciates all that the local men and women do for Kansas City, "These service men, policemen and firemen have tough jobs behind the scenes. We feel like we have to acknowledge them."

Brigade Notes

After a bye week the Brigade (0-2) look to pick up their first victory in the 2008 AFL season.

The Brigade are 2-0 all-time versus the Grand Rapids Rampage (0-2).

QB Matt Kohn will be making his first start for the Brigade.

LB Antonio Ficklin will be making his AFL debut as starting Mac Linebacker.
