
Brian Sylvestre Called Back to Carolina RailHawks

Cary, NC (May 26, 2015) - Brian Sylvestre has been called back to Carolina RailHawks for the club's match in the Third Round of the 2015 U.S. Open Cup against Charlotte Independence on Wednesday, May 27th at WakeMed Soccer Park. Sylvestre will be back with the Union Thursday and will be available for selection ahead of the team's match on Saturday against D.C. United.
Sylvestre, 22, was named to Major League Soccer's Week 12 Team of the Week as the goalkeeper. He had three saves against New York Red Bulls while earning his second consecutive win and clean sheet. He made his MLS debut earlier this month against Vancouver Whitecaps FC where he recorded a season-high seven saves.
The RailHawks will play Charlotte in the Open Cup on Wednesday before returning to NASL action on Saturday to face Jacksonville Armada FC. Sylvestre will re-join the Union after Wednesday's match.
