Orlando City SC News Release
It's a massive Eastern Conference matchup in New England tonight as Orlando City and the Revolution will compete over three crucial points in a tight playoff race. James O'Connor has deployed a familiar lineup with just a few tweaks.
In goal, Brian Rowe sits at exactly 1800 minutes for the season. He is on pace to break a his career high in minutes of 2765 he recorded in 2016.
In front of him, it's the familiar foursome of Moutinho, Robin Jansson, Lamine Sané, and Ruan. This group has anchored an Orlando City defense that has been massively improved from 2018 - They are on pace to allow 29 fewer goals this season.
In the midfield, Dillon Powers and Uri Rosell have been inserted in the lineup to join Sebas Méndez. Powers and Rosell have a combined 14 MLS starts this season so will be looking to take advantage of tonight's playing time.
Up top, the Lions will deploy a trio of Nani, Tesho Akindele, and Sacha Kljestan. Klljestan has featured primarily in the midfield in 2019, so it will be interesting to see how Orlando City look to take advantage of his playmaking ability in the final third.
Tonight's match will be broadcasted on My65 and Youtube TV in the Orlando Metro area and on ESPN+ nationwide.
Starting XI Presented by Orlando Health: Rowe, Moutinho, Jansson, Sané, Ruan, Powers, Rosell, Méndez, Nani, Akindele, Kljestan.
Bench: Ascues, Dwyer, Michel, Miller, Ranjitsingh, Robinho, Smith
