Mississippi Braves News Release


Pearl, MS - The M-Braves game against the Birmingham Barons Saturday night was suspended due to unplayable field conditions with Birmingham leading 3-1 heading to the top of the third inning. The game will be completed at a date yet to be determined in Birmingham.

Fans who had paid tickets for tonight's game can exchange their tickets for any game throughout the rest of the M-Braves 2009 regular season.

The Braves head to Jackson, TN to face the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx in a six-game set Sunday through Friday at Pringles Park. In game one Sunday, the Braves will send righty Ryne Reynoso to the hill while the D-Jaxx will counter with right-hander Kyle Parker.

The Mississippi Braves return to Trustmark Park on Saturday, July 4th for the Braves Independence Day Celebration. The Braves will wear Patriotic Jerseys and fans will get to watch a Super-Sized Fireworks Extravaganza for Independence Day.
