Lehigh Valley, PA - The Philadelphia Flyers, parent club of the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, have reassigned forward Brandon Alderson from the Reading Royals of the ECHL to the Phantoms.
A 23-year-old forward from Oakville, Ontario, Alderson has compiled four penalty minutes across eight games with Lehigh Valley this season to go along with two assists in two outings with Reading. He split last season between the Phantoms (35 games, 3 goals, 4 assists, 7 points) and Royals (35 games, 7 goals, 8 assists, 15 points).
Lehigh Valley returns to action this Friday, November 20 when it kicks off a three-game road weekend with a showdown against the Providence Bruins. The Phantoms then visits the Hartford Wolf Pack on Saturday before returning to Providence for a rematch with the Bruins on Sunday. The Phantoms then return to PPL Center for a pair of Thanksgiving weekend contests. First, Lehigh Valley hosts the rival Hershey Bears on Friday, November 27 for Go & Grow presented by Lehigh Valley Health Network. Then, on Saturday, November 28, the Bruins invade downtown Allentown. Get up close and personal with your favorite Phantoms that evening with a post-game autograph session with Phantoms players.
