Brampton Beast to Hold Free Agent Tryout Camp

Brampton, ON - Brampton Beast Head Coach Mark DeSantis will be holding a free agent tryout camp prior to the main pre-season training camp in October 2013. The free agent tryout camp will take place September 5, 6 and 7, 2013 at the Powerade Centre in Brampton, Ontario. The cost of the free agent tryout camp is $275 CDN per player and will include three separate ice sessions and a camp jersey.
According to Coach DeSantis, players who are selected to move on from this camp will be asked to participate in the main training camp in October. Coach DeSantis added, "I realize that there are free agent camps all summer long. But, if you feel that you are capable of playing professional hockey, this will be your best opportunity."
There are limited slots available for the free agent tryout camp. Coach DeSantis is anticipating that the free agent tryout camp spots will sell out quickly. The registration period will end Wednesday, July 31, 2013. Each player is required to have a full set of equipment, including a mouth guard and a helmet with a visor. Players will not be permitted on the ice without full set of equipment. All players must have proof of their own health insurance.
