Brahmas to Host Meet the Palyers Party Tonight

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas (March 4) - The Brahmas are hosting the annual Meet the Players Party at Hooters in North Richland Hills tonight from 7:00-9:00pm. All the Brahmas' players and coaches will be in attendance to greet fans, take pictures and participate in a parking lot broomball game.
FORT WORTH FACEOFF:
The Brahmas returned to Cowtown this past weekend for the first time since the end of the 2005-06 season and played two games at the Fort Worth Convention Center. The weekend series was a tribute to hockey history in Fort Worth, as the Brahmas donned Fort Worth Texans sweaters Friday night and limited edition Fort Worth Brahmas jerseys Saturday. The two games drew a total of 11,107 fans.
UPCOMING SCHEDULE:
On Friday, March 9 at 7:30pm the Brahmas host the Missouri Mavericks at the NYTEX Sports Centre for Pink in the Rink. In honor of breast cancer awareness, the team will wear pink jerseys, which will be auctioned off after the game. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The Brahmas hit the ice again on Saturday, March 10 at 7:30pm when they take on the Laredo Bucks.
The Brahmas (30-19-8) are currently third in the Berry Conference with 68 points, ahead of fourth-place Rio Grande Valley (57 points) and fifth-place Tulsa (56 points). With less than a month to go in the regular season, the Brahmas' magic number to clinch a playoff berth is five. Texas could earn a spot in the postseason as early as this weekend.
