Brahmas Have Big Weekend In Store

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas (March 6)-The Brahmas will continue their tumultuous tear to the playoffs Friday at the NYTEX Sports Centre as they host the Wichita Thunder at 7:05 PM.

Fans can enjoy the game with a Coke as Friday is $1 Coke Night at the NYTEX Sports Centre. Texas (33-20-1) is currently sitting in the final playoff spot in the North with 10 games remaining in the regular season. They hope to extend their five game winning streak, the longest winning streak in the league, Friday against Wichita (18-35-2).

The Brahmas play the Oklahoma City Blazers Saturday at home on Texas Brahmas Wristband Night. The first 500 fans at the NYTEX Sports Centre will receive a Brahmas silicone bracelet courtesy of Harley Davidson and the Brahmas Fan Club.

*The meet and greet at Silver Creek Apartments at Norstar with Brahmas All-Star defenseman Justin Kinnunen and forward Grant Jacobsen has been cancelled and re-scheduled for March 12. Jacobsen and Kinnunen will join teammates Chris Thompson and Mike Vellinga for the meet-and-greet from 5-7 PM.

*The Brahmas also want to remind fans that the last regular home game, March 16 at 6:05 PM, is Fan Appreciation Night. At intermission three lucky contestants will have the opportunity to shoot to win a two-year lease for a Dodge Nitro courtesy of Allen Samuels Dodge.
