
Brahmas Finish Strong against the 'Cats

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TX - The Lone Star Brahmas improved to 2-0 in pre-season play with a 4-2 win over Wichita Falls on Tuesday night. Despite a pair of goals by the Wildcat's Ryan Orgel, the Brahmas scored four unanswered to lock up their second win of September.
Veteran forward David Marabella led the charge with two goals for the Brahmas, including the eventual game-winning-goal less than three minutes into the third period. Austin Kamer and Levi Wunder were the other goal scorers for Lone Star. Forwards Aidan Spellacy and Vladimir Studennikov finished with two assists each.
Starting goaltender Alec Calvaruso was tested with 16 shots in just over 31 minutes of game time and he stopped 14 of them. Austin Smith played the second half of the game and recorded ten saves on ten shots en route to his first win of the season.
