(Windsor) The Windsor Spitfires announced today that forward Brady Vail has been named the Tecumseh & South Walkerville Player of the Week for the week ending January 1st. Brady netted the Spits lone goal Wednesday in Saginaw and added two power play goals in a tightly contested game against the Kitchener Rangers Thursday night in Windsor. With his three goals this week Vail has now increased his totals to 14 goals and 30 points on the season, which places him third on the Spits in goals and fourth in total points.

The Palm City, Florida native is currently in his second season with the Spitfires after being selected in the fourth round, 67th overall in the 2010 OHL Priority Selection Draft. The talented forward has taken giant steps in his development as a player thus far this season by nearly tripling his point totals from a year ago. Vail's boundless potential and strong work ethic is another reason why he has fans and coaches excited about his future with the Spitfires.
