Brad Chavis Named Head Athletic Trainer

Pensacola, FL - The 2005-2006 Brabham Cup Champion Pensacola Ice Pilots announced that Brad Chavis has been named the teams new head athletic trainer affiliated with NovaCare Rehabilitation Center.

Chavis, who is 24 years old, was an assistant athletic trainer for the Ice Pilots last season and was also head athletic trainer of Pace High School. He was head athletic trainer for the Muskegon Fury of the United Hockey League during the 2003-2004 season winning the Colonial Cup Championship and represented the Fury as the athletic trainer in the United Hockey League All-Star game.

Chavis has also worked as head equipment manager for the Pensacola Barracudas in arenafootball2 and was a rehabilitation technician for NovaCare Rehabilitation. He is a 2003 graduate of the University of West Florida and graduated from Pensacola High School in 1999. Ch! avis and his wife Jessica live in Pensacola.

The Ice Pilots will play the Gwinnett Gladiators in two preseason home games on Friday, October 14 and Saturday, October 15 at 7:05 p.m. and will begin their tenth anniversary regular season wearing their new colors and logo at home on Saturday, October 22 vs. Mississippi at 7:05 p.m.

Season tickets for the Ice Pilots 2005-2006 season are on sale. Prices for all 36 home games for floor and glass seats are $678.96, side seats are $489.60, goal seats and lower upper seats are $443.52 and upper seats cost $356.40.
