
Bowers named All MISL Team Two

SAN DIEGO, Calif. â The Major Indoor Soccer League announced today that Sockers defender Sean Bowers was named to the All-MISL Second Team. The San Diego native finished the regular season in first place with 93 blocks and broke the 1,000 blocks mark for his career.
Bowers, a three-time MISL Defender of the Year, is a member of the All-League Team for the seventh time. In 2004, Bowers finished third on the Sockers with 30 points (14 goals, 16 assists).
A total of 41 players received votes on the All-MISL ballots. Voting followed the conclusion of the League's 162-game regular season and preceded the MISL Championship Series. For a complete listing of the All-MISL Teams go to the League website at www.misl.net.
The best-of-five MISL Championship Series Finals continues this weekend in Baltimore, Md. The Baltimore Blast currently leads the Milwaukee Wave by a 2-0 margin. Game Three is scheduled for Saturday at 7:35 p.m. ET at 1st Mariner in Baltimore.
