Bounce Wins Big in Mississippi

Mobile, AL - The Southern Alabama Bounce Professional Basketball Team wins big tonight beating the Mississippi Miracles 119 - 112 in the Kroger Center at Tugaloo College. The Bounce leads almost the entire game with strong rebounding and 3 point shots. Coach McDaniel was extremely pleased with the effort from the entire team. The Bounce was lead in scoring by Michael Phillips with 26 points, Miles Thrash with 22, Fred Meeks with 20, and Ben Lambert with 16. Tonight was Ben's strongest showing on the boards leading the team in rebounds and owning the paint all night. Owner Victor Calhoun stated tonight the Bounce proved that they are going to be a force in the ABA. The Bounce was hot from the 3-point range and kept pressure on the Miracles with well executed fast breaks. The Bounce are on their way to Houston where they will play the Undertakers tomorrow night in what is guaranteed to be a fast pace shootout. The Bounce plays at home on Thursday November 16th at 7:00 pm against the Knoxville Noise at the Mitchell Center
