Boston Lobsters News Release
We are pleased to present the Boston Lobster's 2009 schedule as they return for the second year to Ferncroft Country Club in Middleton, MA. The schedule consists of seven home matches and seven away matches. Highlights this year include appearances Martina Navratilova and Serena Williams.

All home matches begin at 7 p.m. except for the Lobsters Family Day match which starts at 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 18. The Lobsters will finalize their team lineup at the Advanta WTT Roster Draft on March 31 in Miami.
Highlights This Season
Martina Navratilova returns for a record 20th WTT season, her 5th for the Lobsters when she plays one home and three away matches. She is the only player to have competed in WTT for four decades and was an original member of the Boston Lobsters first organized in the 1970s. Martina holds eighteen singles grand slam titles and was ranked no. 1 for seven years and was inducted into the Tennis Hall of Fame in 2000.
Serena Williams, winner of ten grand slam tennis titles including the recent 2009 Australian Open and currently ranked No. 1 in the world, makes her first appearance at the Lobsters' stadium on July 9. Williams plays for the Washington Kastles, one of the Lobsters' Eastern Conference rivals.
