BOSTON, Mass. (March 6th, 2007) - The Boston Lobsters open the 2007 World TeamTennis (WTT) Pro League presented by Advanta on Friday July 6th at home against the St. Louis Aces. The Lobsters will host seven matches and play on the road seven times during the season running from July 5 - 25th.
The Lobsters Home schedule is highlighted by visit from Venus Williams and the Philadelphia Freedoms on Wednesday July 18th.
Williams, a former #1 Ranked Player, has won 5 Grand Slam Singles Titles, 6 Grand Slam Doubles, and 2 Grand Slam Mixed Doubles Titles, in addition to 2 Gold Medals at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. She is entering her third WTT Season.
