Boston, MA The Boston Blazers have acquired Josh Sanderson, a six-time All-Pro and the 2009 Champion's Cup Most Valuable Player from the Calgary Roughnecks in exchange for defenseman Jon Harnett, transition Kyle Ross, forward Daryl Veltman, and the Blazers third overall pick in the 2010 entry draft. Boston also picks up Calgary's seventh overall pick in the 2010 entry draft with the trade.

With the trade, Doug Reffue, Boston Blazers President and General Manager has now built an offensive line that features Sanderson, the league's leader in points (104) last season, Dan Dawson, the NLL's 2009 Most Valuable Player, and the 2010 NLL MVP and seven-time All-Star, Casey Powell.

"Josh will be a tremendous asset to our team this season," said Reffue. "He is an unselfish and gifted leader that will fit well with our organization. Between Dawson, Powell, and Sanderson, our fans will certainly be in for an action-packed opening night."
