Boston Bruins Announce Rookie Camp Roster & Schedule

PROVIDENCE, R. I. (August 21, 2014) - The Boston Bruins have announced its 2014-15 rookie camp schedule and roster, which includes a total of 10 players that saw time with the Providence Bruins last year.

Included among the group of players with P-Bruins experience on Boston's 22-player rookie camp roster are Anthony Camara, Alex Fallstrom, Seth Griffith, Matt Lindblad, Chris Casto, Ben Sexton, Cory Kane, Frankie Simonelli, Adam Morrison and Malcolm Subban.

The 2014-15 Boston Bruins Rookie Camp begins Thursday, Sept. 11 and will feature three games at the Nashville Predators practice facility in Antioch, Tenn., against Florida (Sept. 13), Nashville (Sept. 14) and Tampa Bay (Sept. 16).

The rookie camp roster features a total of 22 players including 13 forwards, seven defenseman and two goalies. In addition, nine players on the rookie roster are American, 10 are Canadian, two Swedish and one Czech. The average age of the Bruins' rookie camp roster is 21.6 years old.

The Boston Bruins will then officially open its 2014-15 training camp on Thursday, Sept. 18 before taking part in the Black & Gold Scrimmage at the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence, R.I.

The Providence Bruins will host the Black & Gold Scrimmage, an intrasquad event on Sunday, Sept. 21 featuring players from Boston and Providence.
