
Boston Breakers to Hold Women's World Cup Viewing Party Friday, June 12

HANOVER, Mass. (June 10, 2015) - The Boston Breakers will host a Women's World Cup viewing party for the second U.S. Women's National Team match of the group stage, Friday, June 12, at Tavern in the Square in Allston, Mass. The viewing party is free and open to the public and kicks off at 6 p.m., two hours prior to the U.S. match.
The U.S., featuring Boston Breakers goalkeeper Alyssa Naeher, takes on Sweden Friday night at 8 p.m. ET. The U.S. beat Australia, 3-1, Monday, while Sweden tied Nigeria, 3-3.
Tavern in the Square is located on 161 Brighton Ave. in Allston. It is easily accessible by public transportation. Take the B train on the green line T to Harvard Ave. Tavern in the Square is a less than five-minute walk from Harvard Ave. There is public parking available nearby as well.
