JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (March 24, 2015) - After two days of training in Jacksonville, the Boston Breakers are set to face the Jamaican Women's National Team Wednesday night in their second game of the 2015 preseason.

The Breakers and "Reggae Girlz" meet Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Flagler College in St. Augustine, Fla. Jamaica is currently at No. 72 in the latest FIFA Women's Rankings. The Reggae Girlz most recently played in the 2014 CONCACAF Women's Championship in October, beating Martinique, 6-0, to open the tournament, which served as the qualifier for the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup in Canada. Following the win over Martinique, Jamaica lost, 2-1, to Costa Rica and 3-1 to Mexico.

"We're looking forward to the match, and I'm sure the girls are as well," Boston Breakers head coach Tom Durkin said. "Jamaica is an unknown for us, but we are hoping it's going to be a stiffer test than what college opponents provide. And, it'll give us some insight into what the next few days of training are going to be like."

The Breakers have had their first taste of two-a-day trainings since arriving in Florida. The first day, the team practiced at Veterans Park in Saint Johns. During the evening session, more than 1,000 players, coaches, and family from the Breakers' youth affiliate, Florida Elite Soccer Academy (FESA), watched practice and later met the Breakers players.

"Our hosts have been fantastic," Durkin said of the FESA staff. "It's a great partnership."

Tuesday morning, the Breakers trained at Losco Park in Jacksonville and returned there late Tuesday afternoon to practice and meet more players and coaches from FESA.

"It's great to be outside. It's afforded us to do things in bigger numbers and on grass, which is good, and on a full-size pitch, which is even more important for us at this point," Durkin said. "We're still using broad strokes trying to frame everything out, but hopefully we'll be able to put in some details as we go along. The girls are doing great."

The Breakers will head to Orlando Thursday for two days of training ahead of Saturday night's match against Jamaica. That game is set for a 7:30 p.m. start at Central Winds Park in Winter Springs, Fla. Admission to both games is $6 for adults and $3 for children.
