HANOVER, Mass. (Oct. 23, 2015) - The Boston Breakers announced today that defender Kassey Kallman has re-signed with the club for the 2016 National Women's Soccer League season. Per team and league policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The 23-year-old Woodbury, Minn. native served as one of three captains on the Breakers in 2015. The central defender was of only two players to feature in every minute of every match for the Breakers. She started all 20 games she appeared in, logging 1,800 minutes.

"We are delighted to be signing Kassey to a new contract. She came in and exceeded our expectations on and off the field last year," Boston Breakers general manager Lee Billiard said. "She is an important player and leader for us, one we know will continue to get better and better over the seasons. To have Kassey competing in a Breakers jersey is a big value for us."
