Boston Blazers Dawson and Cosmo Named to NLL All-Pro Teams

Boston, MA - The National Lacrosse League announced the 2010 First and Second All-Pro teams including two of the Boston Blazers. Blazers Captain and 2009 League MVP Dan Dawson received a First Team nod while the Blazers goaltender Anthony Cosmo was named to the All-Pro Second Team.

Dawson recorded another solid season as he led Boston in 2010 with 88 points (36 goals, 52 assists) and averaged over five points a game. He was among the league leaders in goals (36, T-6th), game winning goals (4, T-1st), and short-handed assists (5, 1st). In his nine seasons, Dawson has accumulated 326 goals and 442 assists for 768 points.

Cosmo had a stellar 2010 season earning a spot amongst the top goaltenders in the league. He finished second in the league in minutes and goals against average (9.50) and third in save percentage (0.799), wins (7), and overall saves (559). Cosmo ended the season having stopped 596 of 749 shots in 950 minutes between the pipes while contributing 13 assists to the team's offensive efforts.
