Washington Stealth News Release

The National Lacrosse League announced the All-Pro teams for the 2010 season today. Washington Stealth forwards Lewis Ratcliff and Rhys Duch were both named second team All-Pros for their performances in the regular season.

Ratcliff earns All-Pro honors for the third time in his nine-year NLL career. The Victoria, B.C., product led the NLL in goals scored with 46, the second-highest total of his career. An MVP candidate this season, Ratcliff also finished second in the league with 97 points. He was especially impressive late in the season, recording 33 points (14g, 19a) in four April games. In two playoff games, Ratcliff has been a playmaker on the floor for the Stealth, recording seven assists.

Duch, who was the 2009 NLL Rookie of the Year, showed no signs of a sophomore slump in 2010, as he finished seventh in the league with 86 points (33g, 53a). His assist total was also good for seventh in the NLL. Much like Ratcliff, Duch was playing his best lacrosse late in the season, with 32 points (13g, 19a) in April. His hot streak has continued into the postseason, as Duch is tied with teammate Jeff Zywicki for the postseason lead in goals with eight. He has 14 points in two playoff games.

The pair paced a Stealth offense that finished with a league-best 211 goals during the regular season. The Stealth clinched the top overall seed in the playoffs and will be hosting the Champion's Cup Final on may 15 against the Toronto Rock at the Comcast Arena at Everett.
