
Borgesi Named to 2022 BioSteel All-American Game Roster

KEARNEY, NE. - Tri-City Storm defenseman Vinny Borgesi has been named to the roster for the 2022 BioSteel All-American Game at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan on January 17th, 2022. The game will feature top prospects eligible for the 2022 NHL Draft. Borgesi was named to NHL Central Scouting's Preliminary Players to Watch list for this year's draft. The game will begin at 3pm CT, and will be broadcast live on the NHL Network.
Vinny Borgesi, 17, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, scored two goals and recorded 10 assists last season in 49 games played for the Storm. He was signed by Tri-City to a tender agreement on March 31st, 2020. Borgesi made his USHL debut with the team on November 7th, 2020, in the Storm's 5-1 road win over the Sioux City Musketeers. He netted his first career USHL goal on December 15th, 2020, in Tri-City's 4-2 road loss to the Des Moines Buccaneers. Borgesi has recorded nine assists and has appeared in every game to this point in the 2021-2022 regular season for the Storm. He previously announced a commitment to play collegiate hockey in the future for Northeastern University.

The format for the 2022 BioSteel All-American Game will feature players assigned to each team from both the United States National Team Development Program's Under-18 team, and select players from USHL member organizations.
