Ashwaubenon, Wis. - The Green Bay Booyah have announced the addition of two right handers by signing juniors Chris Jefferson (New Mexico State) and David Rajeski (Pacific)
Jefferson, a 6-foot-2, righty out of Pearland, Texas, has started two games for New Mexico State early on. He has pitched five innings in both of his appearances and has a 1-1 record. Jefferson has worked ten innings and has recorded 13 strikeouts while only walking three. Last year, at New Mexico JC, he posted a 2-0 record over 13 games with four starts. During his sophomore campaign he struck out 34 over 26.1 innings pitched while helping his team to a 40-17 record. New Mexico State will take on Delaware this weekend in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
Rajeski, a 6-foot-5, righty from Alamo, California, is off to strong start for the Pacific Tigers. Through three appearances he is 2-0 with a 0.00 ERA. Rajeski has worked four innings out of the bullpen and has racked up five strikeouts. Last year, at San Mateo College, Rajeski was 3-1 with a 3.67 ERA. In 27 innings pitched he struck out 17 batters.
