After a sacrifice fielders choice by catcher, Braden Mattson, Wood was able to come in to score. With the bases loaded, rightfielder Quinton Urban was nailed by a pitch, that scored Mattson from third. Another Bombers run would come accross the plate and the Bombers would lead 7-6. H&R Block Never Settle for Less Player of the Game, center fielder Jordan Hammerman then hit a 2 run single to give the Bombers a 9-6 lead, that would end up winning it for the Bombers. The Bombers defense got off to a late start, but finished strong holding McKinney to no runs in the final 5 innings of play.
