
Bombers Ranked 8th Nationally Among Summer Collegiate Teams

HUNTINGBURG, Ind. - The Dubois County Bombers are the eighth-best summer collegiate team this summer, according to Perfect Game USA, the self-described "World's Largest Baseball Scouting Service."
The organization weekly ranks the "Top 30" summer collegiate teams, and this week the Bombers were No. 8.
"Utah LHP Nick Green (2-0, 1.93, 5 SV, 19 IP/24 SO), Vincennes (Ind.) JC RHP Ty Simpson (2-1, 2.05), Utah Valley RHP Devin Nelson (3-0, 2.46) have been stalwarts on Bombers pitching staff" is the article's assessment of this Dubois County squad.
The West Virginina Miners were the only other Prospect League squad to appear in the top 30, checking in at No. 25.
