Bombers Need Sponsors to Enable Broadcasts for Road Games
June 29, 2012 - Prospect League (Prospect)
Dubois County Bombers News Release
HUNTINGBURG, Ind. - The Dubois County Bombers are the first team in the Prospect League to clinch a playoff berth, but they haven't been able to broadcast the last couple weeks' worth of road games to listeners at home due to financial constraints.
If nothing changes, this will not change.
The Bombers utilize a website called Teamline ( http://www.teamline.cc/sportpage?teamcode2946&eventcode5). It's an internet-based provider that allows broadcasters to talk into their phone and the listener to simply click on the link and listen.
However, each game costs 100 dollars, and the Bombers do not have sponsors to cover the cost.
Advertisers can secure two 30-second spots for 25 dollars or five spots for 50 dollars.
The Bombers also welcome donations of any sort, in which case the broadcast would mention throughout the game who is responsible for sponsoring that particular game's broadcast or, if the donor wishes, attribute the sponsorship to "anonymous."
Call 812-683-3700 or email Gary Freymiller at garyf@dcbombers.com if you want to support the Bombers and enable fans and families to follow the road games of what has so far been the best team in the Prospect League.
