MUSKEGON, MI - The kickoff event in Muskegon for the Lumberjacks season went as perfect as could be imagined with the Jacks (4-1, 8 pts)) picking up a commanding 8-2 win over the visiting Chicago Steel (1-5, 2 pts). Sacha Boisvert (Trois-Rivieres, QC, CAN) tallied a goal and 2 assists helping his team to it's third win of the campaign.

A second Muskegon goal came at the 11:06 mark of the first period while on a Jacks power play. David Klee (Castle Rock, CO) won a faceoff back to Boisvert who tapped it to the far side for Owen Keefe (Saugus, MA). The future Boston Terrier sent a shot towards the net that was redirected by Klee for the San Jose Shark draft pick's second goal of the season.
