Boise Hawks News Release
BOISE, ID: The Boise Hawks, Short Season Class A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, have announced their fifth annual Military Appreciation Night (presented by Western Heating and Air Conditioning) at Memorial Stadium. The event will be held during the Saturday August 10, game three against the Eugene Emeralds (Chicago Cubs) at 7:15 pm.
"This is one of the games we circle on the calendar each season," says Boise Hawks General Manager, Bob Flannery. "It's going to be a great night and we can't thank Western Heating and Air Conditioning enough for their continued support."
On Military Appreciation Night, the Hawks look to recognize and honor the soldiers and their families for the dedication, commitment, and sacrifices they make for our nation. The Hawks will also wear patriotic uniforms that evening, which will be auctioned off during the game. The proceeds of that auction will benefit the Wyakin Foundation. After the game, there will be a fireworks show, presented by Pioneer Federal Credit Union.
Along with Western Heating and Air Conditioning as the presenting sponsor, the Boise Hawks also thank the following supporting sponsors and their continued support of Military Appreciation Night: Alexander Clark Printing, Jack in the Box, Midas Gold, Pioneer Federal Credit Union, Fireworks & Stage FX, Your Local Toyota Dealers and Wendy's.
