
Boise Burn Make First Cuts; Add Players

BOISE, Idaho ¾ The Boise Burn, which opened its 2009 training camp with 35 players and the optional two international players on its roster, cut down to 30 +2 active today as mandated by the arenafootball2 league office.
Today, the following players were added to the roster: WR Brandon Breazell, OL/DL Palauni Ma'Sun, DB Kai Oredugba, OL/DL David Stanton, and WR/DB Jomo Wilson. Boise State product DB Rashaun Scott was also signed, but placed on the Injured Reserve today after tearing his ACL/MCL during practice.
The Burn placed the following players on re-assignment: DB Christopher Clark, OL/DL Jesse Dee, FB/LB Zach Tune, and WR/DB Brian Williams.
The following six players refused to report to camp: FB/LB D'Angelo Bryant, OL/DL Matt Butler, WR/DB Nathan Kimbrough, DL Gerard Lee, OL/DL Garrett Smith, and DB Demond Williams.
The final roster cuts, to the season-opening 22-man roster (19-active; three-inactive), will be made after the team scrimmage on Saturday, Mar. 21.
