
Bock and Adams Selected by Houston Dash in NWSL Expansion Draft

MORRISTOWN, N.J. (Jan. 10, 2014) - The Houston Dash selected midfielder Brittany Bock and forward Danesha Adams in today's National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) Expansion Draft. Bock was picked first overall, and Adams was selected in the ninth round.
Brittany Bock, who battled injuries throughout the 2013 NWSL season, appeared in seven matches for Sky Blue FC, making five starts. Bock, a University of Notre Dame alum, will be reunited in Houston with her college coach, Randy Waldrum. Waldrum joins the Houston Dash, after serving as the head women's soccer coach at Notre Dame since 1999.
With their ninth pick, the Houston Dash selected Danesha Adams. Adams played in 21 matches for Sky Blue FC during the 2013 season, scoring three goals and tallying three assists.

Sky Blue FC will add to the roster via the 2014 NWSL College Draft which will take place on Friday, Jan. 17 at 10 a.m. (ET) at the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Convention in Philadelphia.
The draft will be held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center and will be open to the public. Fans will also be able to follow the draft on NWSLsoccer.com as well as on Twitter (@NWSL).
Sky Blue FC will select 6th, 15th, 24th, and 33rd in the 2014 NWSL College Draft.
