Bobcats Win 6-2 over Albert Lea

The Bismarck Bobcats played the Albert Lea Thunder for the first time in franchise history tonight in Albert Lea, Minnesota. The Bobcats were able to win the first ever meeting by a final of 6-2. It was a win that saw the Bobcats never looking back once they claimed the lead.

Bobcats killed off three straight penalties in the first period and were able to get a goal late in the first 20 minutes of play scored by Cody Keefer. The goal was set up by Jordan Singer at the 19:10 mark giving the Bobcats the lead of 1-0 after the first frame.

The Bobcats ran away with the game in the second period with a four goal period. Keefer would pick up his second of the game, which was followed up by Bryan Kozlowski, Kevin Harris, and Nicholas Jensen goals.

In the third period, the Thunder would get two goals after Anthony Brown would bang in the sixth goal for the Bobcats.
