
Bobcats meet trade deadline

After winning their third straight game the Bismarck Bobcats find themselves tied for 4th place in the Central Division with the Alexandria Blizzard. The Bobcats announced today that they have made one minor move before the February 6th, USA Hockey trade deadline. The 'Cats will add size to their defensive core with Donnie Harris formally of the Omaha Lancers of the USHL. Harris the 6'3 205 pound Fort Ashby, WV product could be the right handed defenseman the 'Cats have been looking for. Harris is expected to arrive in Bismarck before this weekends tilt with Alexandria.
The 'Cats open their weekend tomorrow night with a playoff style hockey game with the Fargo-Moorhead Jets. The doors open at 6 for 75 cent beers and the puck drops at 7. After a day of rest Friday the 'Cats will battle the Alexandria blizzard, one of the hottest teams in the Central division.
