Bismarck Bobcats News Release

The Bismarck Bobcats have made a trade with the Kenai River Brown Bears for Kenia's Jeff Harris and Kevin Harris, natives of California. In return the Bobcats gave Kenai a 2008 tender and forward Kurt Weston, a Roseau, MN native.

Jeff Harris is the Brown Bears top scorer with 12 goals and 15 assists for 27 points in 29 games played. His twin brother Kevin is fifth in scoring for Kenia with four goals and 13 assists. According to Coach Byron Pool the trade was made to bolster the Bobcats scoring, which has been a challenge this year.

"We are excited to have Jeff and Kevin in camp and believe they, along with some other potential deals in the works will help the Bobcats in their run for the playoffs. Both players are hard workers and crafty with the puck".

They will join the Bobcats for Saturday nights tilt against the North Iowa Outlaws.
