Bismarck Bobcats News Release

After an impressive 3-0 sweep of the Fargo-Moorhead Jets in the West Division Semi-Finals, Bobcat defenseman #2 Clayton Rehm has been awarded the North American Hockey League's West Division Defensive Player of the Week.

Throughout the 2003-2004 season, Rehm has played an essential leading role in the Bobcats' defense, especially in the NAHL playoff run. In his April 2 appearance versus the Fargo-Moorhead Jets, Rehm managed to acquire two crucial goals in the Bobcats' 3-1 victory.

Originally from Park Rapids, MN, 19-year-old Rehm has been playing Junior "A" Hockey since the age of 16, having played in two other teams within the league: the Billings Bulls for the 2001-2002 season and the Bozeman Icedogs for 2002-2003.

Finishing the 2003-2004 regular season with seven goals and twenty-one assists, Rehm was one of the top leading defenseman scorers in the entire league with a total of 28 points.
