Bobcat Alum Keefer Named All-West Rookie

APPLETON, WI - Former Bismarck Bobcats forward Cody Keeferhas been named to the Division III West All-Rookie team by leading collegehockey website US College Hockey Online.
Keefer, who just completed his first season with St. NorbertCollege, led all freshmen in scoring in the highly competitive NCHA with 12goals and 12 assists during the regular season.
He also scored the game-winning goal in the D-III FrozenFour game that propelled the Green Knights to the national title game againstNorwich.
In Bismarck, Keefer notched 28 goals and 26 assists duringthe Bobcats' run to the 2009 Robertson Cup Tournament.
The current edition of the Bobcats opens up the CentralDivision Finals Friday at the VFW Sports Center with Game One against theAlexandria Blizzard at 7:15 PM.
Friday's second-round lid-lifter will be broadcast locallyon the radio home of Bobcat Hockey, Super Talk 1270, KLXX-AM, and worldwide atBismarckBobcats.com via B2 Networks. The pre-game show starts at 6:45 PM.
