Salt Lake Bees News Release
ANAHEIM, CAâThe Angels announced that RHP Bobby Jenks will go on the disabled list retroactive to Tuesday April 20 because of right elbow tendonitis. He pitched only one complete inning in his third start of the season on Monday April 19. He came out of the game because his right elbow was very sore and tender. For precautionary measures, Jenks has gone to Southern California to visit with Angels' doctors for more tests. He will miss his scheduled start on Saturday April 24 when the Stingers return home to face the Portland Beavers at 6:30pm. LHP Yoshi Mizuo will be moved from double-A Arkansas to take Jenks' spot on Salt Lake's roster. The starter for Saturday is not yet determined.
