
Blues Take Seventh Straight Win with 3-0 Shutout

Last night, the Bristol Blues and Pittsfield Suns battled for the third time in the last two days. The Blues were able to go 3-0 in the series with a 3-0 win last night to raise their record to 33-21. The Blues have won their last seven in a row.
The Blues were led by a two RBI night from Gerrad Rohan (Youngstown).
Blues starting pitcher George Lund (Roger Williams) and reliever Mike Nocera (Merrimack) were the stars of the night combining for the complete game shutout with Lund getting the win and Nocera earning the save. Suns losing pitcher was named Robert Anderson.
The Blues play there last two games this season with tonight, August 8, being away in Torrington and Sunday, August 9, the Worcester Bravehearts come to Muzzy to close out the season.
